I´ve Got Life

Yesterday, in our women´s discussion circle, we listened to music by women who have faced difficult struggles in their life. We thought that Nina Simone´s performance in this video was special. We got to thinking, maybe we spend too much time in life thinking about the things that we don´t have and perhaps we should focus more of our energy on the things that we do have. We should celebrate our lives.

New beginnings

We have made some adjustments the last month, and are very ready to start againg, with lots of photos, ideas and information.

During the past weeks we have joint to the organization of the Scottish Mental Health Arts and Film Festival, and started to prepare the West End Fest and the Open Day, so we are a bit busy... although we continue working in different personal and group projects.

Meanwhile, Spring has arrived! The sun is shining, the gardens are full of fragranced and colourful flowers... and we are going out to enjoy the good weather and the sights.

TCHT shall not live by paintings alone, but by every form of art that comes from all the people that contribute to build the organization. There are several workshops and projects that explore from gardening to ceramics, creativity, creative writing or musical appreciation. We will try to show you a wee sample of these amazing workshops every time we post. 

Today, the music group got together in the triangle garden. Last week, we sang some Beatles songs, and this week they thought it would be fun to change some lyrics to fit the Coach house Trust state of mind. Everyone shared some ideas and thought of some new lyrics... enjoy!
